West good African wooden unity figures

This trio of intertwined figures was carved in Ghana from a single piece of wood. Because the piece is lightweight, the wood likely is tweneboa, commonly used in carving masks, statuary, kitchenware, drums, and other objects. Like many African artifacts, besides appealing to the eye, this piece is functional good in that it can also be used to hold various other objects.
